Cockroaches
- Cockroaches will infest even the cleanest homes.
- Cockroaches can spread just about any disease or bacteria contained in old food.
- Cockroaches and their droppings may trigger severe asthma attacks.
- Any cockroach presence is considered a major health hazard.
- Cockroaches are nocturnal. If you see a cockroach during the day then you have a serious problem.
- Cockroaches will often co-exist with rodents, fleas, flies and/or bedbugs.
Fleas
- Fleas will bite certain people more than others.
- Fleas can spread diseases.
- Fleas have a complete metamorphosis: egg, larva, and pupa, adult.
- The complete metamorphosis cycle is what makes home flea control almost impossible.
- Flea bites are sometimes mistaken for a rash.
- Fleas hide and lay eggs in the cracks around your baseboard.
Rodents
- Live in the sewers under grown.
- Can hold their breath long enough to come up through your toilet, and often do.
- Norway rats can weigh over 1 pound.
- Over the counter baits will cause rodents to die under your home and in your walls leaving a pungent odor.
- Are smarter than over the counter snap traps.
House Mice
The house mouse is the most common rodent pest in most parts of the world. It can breed rapidly and adapt quickly to changing conditions.
Roof rat
Roof rats get their name from their tendency to be found in the upper parts of buildings. Ranging in size from 6 to 8 inches in length, not including their tails, they have very poor vision and are colorblind. They do have extremely strong senses of hearing, smell, touch and taste.
Norway rats
These rats have smaller eyes and ears and shorter tails.
